Josh Carter is an Engagement Director with Investment Stewardship team under Office of the General Counsel (OGC) at Vanguard. This team is responsible for proxy voting and engagements with portfolio companies on behalf of Vanguard’s index funds. Josh focuses primarily on Healthcare, Utilities, and Energy sectors. Prior to this, he was most recently a Nonprofit Client Success Leader in IIG, where he led a team of Investment Consultants and Client Success Executives responsible for understanding client needs, creating value for nonprofits, and delivering on commitments to ensure the highest quality of service. Josh has been at Vanguard since 2013, serving in a variety of leadership and project management roles across the Institutional and Personal Investor divisions. Josh earned an MBA from Drexel University and a BA in economics from Rutgers University. He holds the Series 7, 63, and 24 licenses, as well as the PMP certification. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife, April, and their three kids: Miles (9), Lucas (7), and Molly (4), along with their dog, Tozer. He also serves as a volunteer on the West Chester Borough Parks and Recreation Commission.

Sujatha Srinivasan (she/her) is a principal and Global Head ofInvestment Management & Finance Risk within the Global Riskand Security division. She is responsible for providing independentoversight and strategic guidance on investment risks. Her expertiseensures that investment outcomes are meticulously aligned withboth fund objectives and investor expectations. Additionally, Ms.Srinivasan plays a pivotal role in embedding robust riskmanagement practices into the financial operations of theorganization, thereby enhancing decision-making, optimizingcapital allocation, and ultimately driving superior business results. Before assuming her current position, Ms. Srinivasan was ChiefRisk Officer at Vanguard’s Institutional Investor Group (IIG). There,she led the risk management initiatives for employers providingcompany-sponsored retirement plans and for institutions such asendowments and foundations, focusing on risk identification,assessment, and mitigation. Ms. Srinivasan joined Vanguard from Stripe, where she managedPartnerships Risk. She also brings two decades of experience fromGoldman Sachs, having held several key positions including GlobalCo-Head of Market Risk for the Global Markets Division. Ms. Srinivasan is an alumna of Swarthmore College, where sheobtained a B.A. in Comparative Literature and continues tocontribute as a member of the boa.
